Machu Picchu

What an amazing way to end the Peru, train ride bus ride plane rides all worth it! Machu Picchu is amazing and beautiful. I am so lucky I got to hike it. It was a hard hike but so much fun. It was so green, I love to see the moss on the rocks and to see how the village looked from below. It was so awesome to see someone get proposed to. Someone got taken out on a stretcher. The tour guide was pretty legit he knew his stuff. They turned me away because of my coke! A COKE! I have never been turned away because of a COKE! A COKE! Something so simple as a coke. It wasn't even cocaine or anything it was coca cola. You also had to pay for the bathroom so weird. It was worth it though just to wash my hand. I will pay a freaking sola to wash my hands. It was amazing to see the world from a different perspective. I loved to see how happy people were to be there. This opportunity has been amazing I am so grateful for the experiences. They have truly changed my life for the better.
Peru it has been fun and real. Thank you for the safety you have shown me and the love you have shown me. Life is hard but this has truly shown me the pure love of Christ.
I am off this is the end of the Peru Adventures 2017 until the flight home. Peace out cub scout!

Christlike love is the love of a child.

I saw true Christlike love it's in a child. As we left the school yesterday it was amazing to me to see the love they have for us the just barley met us, yet the love they had was just amazing to me. It melted my heart because it was truly Christlike love. Christlike love can be achieved by anyone but children have it down. As I taught these Latino children songs in English it was fun to see how they wanted to know more. It was cute to watch them sing it and to have them learn from me. I learned so much for them it was amazing to me to see how just a simple child could change your life. I am so thankful for this opportunity to have got to teach them. My heart is sad to have it be over, the experience was amazing and the memories are unforgettable.
Life comes at you fast. Love every moment! Look for the positives! Have Christlike love and if you ever forget what it is look at a child. My life has truly been changed for the better!
Keep the faith! Over and out! Peace out cub scout!

Girl scout days coming back.

Today was good. My girl scout days are coming in handy. I taught my girl scout songs to my students because I couldn't for the life of me the wheels on the bus. So I taught them the princess Pat and the crockodile song. It was pretty funny to watch them and here them sing it in English when their first language is Spanish. The teacher is a little grouchy but it is alright. I have gotten mean teachers along my Peru journey but it's whatever. I have not liked this school. It hasn't felt like the other ones. I at least felt like I mattered at the other schools. This school I have felt like an imposter. The school is nice it doesn't have toilet seats or toilet paper but it does have hand soap.
This opportunity has been one in a million. It has definitely changed my life for the better. It has been wonderful weather and an adventure to say the least. Shout out to my family for letting me go and to live the dream.
Life is hard take it by the horns and ride with it. Keep the faith! Live the dream! Until next time peace out cub scout!

My life in a flash!

Today was much better than yesterday. My teacher was nicer and I spent most of the day in Lisa class because my class was in PE and I couldn't get in. Some little boy farted and it smelled terrible. The teacher came in and was like open the door and open the windows. It was so funny I almost died! Then today at the ATM they shut a shop and scared me to death. Went shopping all day and I think everyone souvenirs are got and mine are all done. I chatted to my mom for a little bit today it was great. I love her.
I ate guinea pig and alpaca for lunch that was great. Morgan is freaking awesome. We shopped till we dropped today. I am so exhausted. Dr. Escalante is in charge Dr. Waite left us. Poor Melissa got sick and it breaks my heart she is so miserable. Send prayers her way!
I taught head shoulders knees and toes but they already knew it. I drew them a picture (below) it was legit I was very proud of it. We also sang A Boom Chicka Boom. It was a great day.
Living the dream and keeping the Faith! Have fun! Keep the faith. Work hard, play hard, run harder! Until my next adventure. Peace out Cub scout!

New School in Cusco

We went to a new school today and I want to play sick. I would rather go in a cage with a bunch of alligators than go back to that school. The teacher was mean and grouchy, she wasn't to happy with me being there. I was in third grade and I was so excited that school gives me a bad feeling. I don't like it. Only three more days. Where has this two weeks gone. My heart is going to be sad and happy to see my family. This has been an amazing experience. Would I do it again maybe but I would speak the language that helps a lot. I can't stand not understand. I just wanted to cry today because I couldn't handle it. The uncomfortableness that I felt today was something that I can't describe to you in words. Days like today I wish I was in my basement alone in AF sad that I have no friends.
Dr. Waite talked to my teacher and she seemed fine but the way she makes me feel is not fine. Life is crazy and being here seems so unreal but it is and it has been amazing. I am so grateful for the opportunity to ha e been here and seen the amazing things. My life has truly changed for the better!
Keep the faith! I am off to bed! Until next time peace out cub scout!

Weekend in Cusco

Saturday was full of adventures. We went to the sacred valley it was beautiful! My life has truly been changed. I almost died a contur come at my face and I'll I could do was hold my breath and cry. It was so scary to me and yet no one truly understand why I was so scared. I am terrified of animals. I am so thankful for Dr. Escalante because she just hugged me. You can tell she is a mom and has children. We went on some amazing hikes. We went to this weaving place where they showed us they make yard and thread and weave blankets it take 40 days to dye and make and weave a blanket. Truly amazing.
Today we went to church that was so great. My friend was there. I didn't understand what was going on but it was great to see and listen to it in Spanish. We went shopping and I hit jackpot and it was freaking awesome!!
I called my family and they are doing well. My mom is funny. They went to the wedding yesterday and said it was great.  They fixed my card.
I am so thankful to be here on this adventure. Keep the faith! Until next time peace out cub scout!

Cusco day 1

The school was not as bad as I was expecting it to be. The way it sounded was like it was made of mud and not bathrooms. They had bathrooms but they were very sketchy and worse than outhouses at a half marathon or marathon and that says alot. The hotel is nice. My friend from my singles ward back home that was awesome! We are in the same hotel and same country and didn't even plan it. Small world that was a tender mercy to see her. She is so funny. She has curly hair like me. But hers grows down and not out.
Everyone is sleeping and taking a nap and then there is me who is always on the go! I am starting to see how lazy people are. My professor who is in charge of the trip is sick so that's no fun. Just sitting in the lobby wishing someone would explore with me. Someone who actually wants to be here. Oh well it is life. I am ready to go home and quit this teaching stuff.
Cusco is a beautiful place. Altitude is very different but it's a wonderful place. I just wish I could see more than just the hotel.
Living the dream and keeping the Faith! Peace out cub scout. Until next time. Over and out in Cusco Peru!

Lima to Cusco

Lima to Cusco totally different atmosphere. Lima was humid and ripped my pants and spilled my coke on my pants, rough few days. Life is crazy. I am rooming with my good friend Lisa and that's awesome. I don't do the girl drama. International School we went to today was freaking awesome. I loved it there I felt at home. The teacher who I was with was awesome. The love he had for his students. The public school was nice it was amazing to see how much the students loved us.
I am overwhelmed and don't know what to do. I have no one to talk to. Life is crazy. I am ready to go home. I have had enough adventures. The bus yesterday hit a car that was great. Honestly people drive so crazy here. I am just ready for American food again. Teaching is fun I don't understand the Spanish but it's okay it is giving me a better understanding of ell students.
I am off to bed. Have a wonderful week. I am off to more adventures. Keep the faith! Peace out cub scout. Until tomorrow my friends.

Peru adventures continue

Well I definitely don't speak Spanish!! We already knew that but it is officially true. They always forget my food and I seriously could kill someone. Then I have to eat fast and I then get frustrated because I still have to pay which is fine but it is just annoying as I can get out. I found two sols yesterday that was great it bought my coke. I made paper flowers with my students they are so great. I am so thankful that I am here. Today my foot has really hurt it is super swollen but it is worth it because I am going on adventures that I never thought was possible it's like running a half marathon but not knowing anything.
The justice of the school was at my school today and we got escorted by the police. They hugged and kissed me please never touched my face.
My professor and his wife are pretty great. They hold hands and when we take pictures they let go and they don't even know hahaha. They kill me with laughter.
The hotel is awesome. I am living the dream and keeping the Faith. I am so thankful for the struggle and the language barrier it is teaching me how to be a better student and teacher. Peru is amazing! We ate by the ocean. Life comes at you fast never let a day pass you by!
I am off to my next adventure. Peace out cub scout.

Peru day 1

My life has changed so much in so little time. I am so excited to be in Peru the culture is definitely different but it's amazing to see all the cool architecture. The food is great. Bottled water is the way to be. Coke here is super sweet it isn't my favorite. Lisa one of my good friends from Dixie is here and that's awesome. Taxi rides are fun. I have to sleep with my foot on a pillow to keep the swelling down. I can't bend my toes at the moment when the swelling goes down I will be able to. The plane ride was long but it was worth it once we got here. Emotions are high but it will be fine. Sometimes I just wish someone knew how bad my foot hurts but I laugh and go with it. This adventure is a great one I am so thankful the Dr  cleared me to come. I packed to much but that's alright. At least I have everything. Sorry short post. I don't know what else to say. Tomorrow will be more eventful. The room in the hotel has a bunk bed and two queens it's freaking awesome. I love it here. I don't know if I want to come back to Utah. But I will. Off to my next adventure. I worked hard to get here no my parents didn't pay for me to come. They taught us to work hard and to follow are dreams and I am. Hard work pays off and is worth it. Laugh a lot and keep the faith! Peace out cub scout!
